Orange County, like many other parts of the world, has been experiencing various challenges in rebuilding its community post-pandemic. Community leaders are still figuring out how to effectively provide services to their residents. They are also concerned for their own mental health and well-being after being on the frontlines for over a year.
During April – June 2021, the Orange County Community Foundation sponsored our Ambassadors of Peace certification training program for OC community leaders. Participants were trained in managing their mental health and designing solutions to improve the wellbeing of their communities and organizations.

“I think that this training has provided tools that can address many of the trauma our clients endure as well as our own. This training addresses burnout and self-care which for the helping professional it is so needed. This training is excellent and can be applied to everyone. Thank you for bringing this to Orange County.”
