Empowering

Austin

Our Work

Examining the crime data of Austin reveals intriguing insights. The city boasts a lower violent crime rate of 24.9 per 100,000 individuals, surpassing the national average of 22.7. Additionally, its property crime rate stands at 55 per 100,000 people, rendering it highly favorable compared to similar-sized cities.

This underscores Austin’s resilience against criminal activities, showcasing a lower overall crime rate despite recent local surges, setting it apart from many urban counterparts. Yet there is much help needed to empower the Service providers who endeavor to keep the city safe and be able to do it sustainably. Cities4Peace looks forward to working with the members of the service community to enhance their resilience to uphold peace in Austin and neighboring communities.
